Mirror Mirror On the Wall

As I said last week, walls are blank canvases that are just waiting to grab the attention of the buyer as they walk through the property.  We love to take advantage of that by using mirrors for staging because they can expand the space visually AND create more light.

For example, hanging a mirror horizontally in a front formal dining room will brighten the space with natural sunlight.

A mirror will also add some interest on an otherwise plain wall AND hopefully also provide a lovely and interesting reflection that could be showcased.

You can also use a mirror (this is actually the same one used in the first photo) standing vertically on the mantel to draw the eye upward.

YOUR HOME STAGING INVESTMENT MAY BE TAX DEDUCTIBLE!
We’re Stagers and certainly not tax professionals so don’t take our word for it. Check with your tax professional and determine if the costs they incurred could be deductible.  (Hint:  IRS Publication 523 is where they need to direct their CPA to determine eligibility.)
